Have you ever been to Syria? What do u think of an invitation to visit Damascus?

I have been to Syria, i generally enjoyed it, but made the mistake of using the water to brush my teeth and got a little sick basically because i wasnt used to it. Highlight of the trip was visiting the castle Krac de Chevalier, that was amazing.
