What are the possible verdict for "The Independent"?

I can't see any resolution except that the case will be quietly dropped after a few weeks. If it goes to court in the UK they will of course find the indie not guilty, and in the process of gathering evidence will find the Bahraini government to have done all the things the indie reported them doing. If the Bahrainis are taking it seriously they will have no choice but to let the evidence be gathered, which will undermine their regime anyway. It's just a stunt where they're trying to frighten journalists away. I doubt it'll work.
