What's the name of the theme pak with a purple dragon mascot character?

I saw a commercial on tv about Virginia or Vermont, that highligted all the cool and fun placed to go and see. There was one scene that shows a giant purple dragon costume character in a theme park that is medevil themed. Does anyone know what park I'm talking about or where that purple dragon character is. And it's not Barney.
